A Christmas concert with a twist! Hear light-hearted acoustic versions of
the best holiday songs, played in an intimate setting by a top-notch band. From
a hot jazz jam session on “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” to a soaring flute
rendition of “O Holy Night” - from a sly vocal take on “You’re A Mean One, Mr.
Grinch” to twin mandolins on "Deck the Halls" - this just may be your favorite
holiday music of the year! With jazz/classical flutist Kim Scott, genre-busting
mandolinist Jason Bailey, Alabama Jazz Hall
of Fame upright bassist Roy Yarbrough, and your host Sam Pointer on acoustic
guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, Dixieland banjo, and vocals. Please join us, and
bring your family and friends! Showtime is 7:30. Cover is $15 and tickets will
be available at the door. Moonlight on the Mountain is a local treasure of a
venue, an intimate BYOB concert hall for acoustic music. More info:
