Saturday, December 6, Moonlight on the Mountain, 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.  $15.  "Sam Pointer's Acoustic Christmas"
A Christmas concert with a twist! Hear light-hearted acoustic versions of the best holiday songs, played in an intimate setting by a top-notch band. From a hot jazz jam session on “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” to a soaring flute rendition of “O Holy Night” - from a sly vocal take on “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”  to twin mandolins on "Deck the Halls" - this just may be your favorite holiday music of the year! With jazz/classical flutist (and host of NPR's Block Party Radio) Kim Scott, genre-busting mandolinist Jason Bailey, Alabama Jazz Hall
of Fame upright bassist Roy Yarbrough, and your host Sam Pointer on acoustic guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, Dixieland banjo, and vocals. Please join us, and bring your family and friends! Tickets will be available at the door. Moonlight on the Mountain is a local treasure of a venue, an intimate BYOB concert hall for acoustic music.
