ever-changing variety of material from other sources. Never the same show

- The Bluegrass Cartel
- A traditional bluegrass band with some of Birmingham's finest bluegrass
players. Sam is on guitar
and lead vocals.
- Shillelagh Law
- "The ale-swillingest, whiskey-drinkingest, floor-poundingest, love-makingest

and much more.
- Pointer & Bailey Circus
- An eclectic mix of Sam's originals and tasty covers. Sam on electric
guitar, Jason Bailey on mandolin, plus an evolving rhythm section selected
from Birmingham's top bassists and drummers.
- Mando Trois
- Acoustic guitar/mandolin/bass versions of classic rock and bluegrass
songs, plus unique triple mandolin arrangements of fiddle tunes and jazz
standards.
- John Hartford Tribute
- On rare occasions, Sam and friends perform a tribute to the music
of the late, great John Hartford.
